Anurag Thakur succeeded his father and won a seat to Parliament in 14th Loksabha elections held in 2004. Anurag has been re-elected to Parliament in 15th and 16th Lok Sabha elections as well. Anurag Thakur is continuously rising in the chart and is certainly not someone who will care to look back and feel sad about missing onto opportunities.

Anurag was elected for Parliament in 2014 with a record vote and was also awarded with Best Young Parliamentarian Award in 2011. Anurag continues to be one of the youngest members of parliament. Anurag Thakur is not only representing the constituency of Hamirpur but also the hopes of modern youth.
