Priyesh Jain Founder of ‘Secret Temples – A Youth Must Know About’ Shares His Startup Story

Meet Priyesh Jain (Secret Temples)

Myself Priyesh Jain – An avid traveler with a keen interest in archaeological sites, especially temples. I am from Udaipur. I have explored secret temples of India and that is when I got the inspiration of creating Secret Temples.

The concept of starting this startup is to create a connecting link between the youth and the long-forgotten traditional history of the world. My ultimate aim is to create a place where you can find answers to almost all the questions related to historic and mysterious temples.

I am a digital marketer and was a part of a 9 to 5 job in the IT sector. I have grown personally and professionally, but a part of me was stuck somewhere (No idea, where!).

When I started this startup I realized this is where my heart belongs, in the midst of secrets of temples.

How did you think about Secret Temples?

I’m originally a resident of Kun village in Rajasthan, when I was in his village during the lock-down last year, visited a place called Balicha near my village there was a 1000 years old Jain temple, also known as Balicha Jain temple.

On visiting this Jain temple, I found that this ancient and wonderful, presenting Indian culture, the temple is in dilapidated condition today due to lack of proper maintenance because people do not know about this temple.

In this way, in the absence of information, a priceless heritage should not be lost like this, and not only this, there will be many more such valuable, incomparable heritage, in the absence of which people (especially the youth) are deprived of it even today and will be deprived even further.

While searching for a solution to this problem, I got the inspiration that why not make these implicit – invisible culture accessible to every youth and since then “Secret Temples” started.

From whom you got inspiration to start ‘Secret Temples’?

I got inspiration from “Balicha Jain Temple”, The situation of that ancient temple shook me from my roots. And the idea came in my mind that i have to do something.

As i am digital marketer i know how to use social media to spread this ancient heritage. Well, i have no mentor yet. searching for the right one, Haha.
