Q. Please introduce yourself.
My name is Aman Khurana, Founder of GoLofty. I was born in a small town called Dhar which is located in M.P state. I have done my schooling from Dhar. For my higher studies and my keen interest to know this world from a different point of view, I requested my parents to send me Indore city for pursuing further schooling from Emerald Heights International School where I can stayed in boarding with students across the nation.
After my schooling, I was selected for admission in one of the most renowned college of the country that is Daly College Business School which is in collaboration with De Montfort University, Leicester (U.K).
Q. How did you think about GoLofty?
After completing my college, I started my career as self employed professional by creating a company from my own and filling tenders of vehicle hiring & transportation in many government as well as private organizations. Due to my keen interest towards the field of transportation & travel related business models, I decided to start AC bus service as an operator to experience the practical aspect of managing this daily task covering lots of responsibilities from seats, luggage to many more options. As the time was already shifted towards the necessity of Online marketplace. I decided to take a quick start towards capturing the needs of travelers by providing highest inventory of buses to them from all over India in the most efficient and convenient way. And so, I decided to collect data of buses from operators for executing GoLofty initially from very ground platform.
Q. Who inspired you to start GoLofty?
When operating my own buses apart from my family business which was based on FMCG sector. I faced many problems during my early days as I was not belongs to this field. Many times, I was left empty handed after participating in tenders for operating buses due to existence of major players in the market and their strategies. Keeping my sustainability and need of seamless customer services in the market, I decided to proceed for gathering ticket sales not only for my buses but for buses of other operators also by listing all available routes online through live inventory and that inspired me to launch GoLofty

Q. What challenges did you face while setting up GoLofty? How did you overcome ?
The biggest challenge I faced was huge competition and existence of big giants in the market. My basic motto to launch this portal is not to beat any of the organization working in this field but to create my own identity by providing most feasible services to the customers by thinking from their point of view.
And this is what, every startup should do while evaluating their idea from scratch. That, market never needs your idea, you just have to realize the demand and try to execute it, for making your own self worth.
Q . What’s the current path, GoLofty’s funding status and future plans?
I have initiated this startup from my own savings and personal investments. After launching the portal and getting overwhelming response from the customers, I decided to launch its Application which is funded by private investors of Maharashtra. And now, we are planning to move ahead by providing other travel and Payments related services through this website like Flight booking, Hotel booking, Recharge & Utility payment options etc. to cater our customers under one stop solution as we are constantly growing and earning our reach in leading social media profiles also.
VID is doing a great job by spreading motivational stories among common people and other business communities as well. And adding to this, I have decided to help out start-ups and existing businesses also by inviting them to take data from us for starting and updating their own travel portal with the ease of their own dedicated system to support Digital India in a proper legal format.
