Born on 6 July 1985, to parents Anju Bhavnani and Jagjit Singh Bhavnani, Ranveer Singh had the flair of an actor since childhood.
He participated in school theatres and debates. He has always been on his active side and never missed a chance to enjoy his creativity.
Once asked about what is his first memory of inclination towards entertainment, he said, “I had gone for a big birthday party. Dadi (grandmother), asked me to dance and suddenly in the middle of the lawn, I am dancing. I remember the song was “Chumma Chumma. I felt the thrill of performance at a very young age.”

As he grew up, he thought about this idea to be an illusion as he had no family backing in the entertainment industry.

Maneesh came to me along with Adi Sir and asked not to. Adi Sir told me that I would do just fine for the role and gave me the script.”
